Good to know

Worth knowing before you book

The three things guests ask reception about this room.

Its own bathroom

Not the shared ones down the corridor. This room and the superior room are the only two here with a shower, a toilet and toiletries behind their own door.

And a terrace

With outdoor furniture and somewhere to eat on it. Nothing else at Travelogue Guesthouse has one.

Booked as one room

Which is the whole point of it. Book beds separately in a hostel this size and a group of three can end up in three different dormitories on two floors; this is the room that stops that happening.

Ask before you book

There is one of these, and it is the room that goes first when a family is in town. Message reception on WhatsApp and they will tell you what is free, rather than you working it out from a booking form.

FAQ

Questions about this room

Asked at reception often enough to be worth writing down.

Still have a question?

Message us and somebody at reception will answer it.

Ask on WhatsApp
Can a family stay together at Travelogue Guesthouse?

Yes. The family room is 20 square metres with a double bed and a single, booked as one room rather than as three beds, and it has a bathroom of its own.

How many does the family room sleep?

Three. Booking.com lists it as a triple room: one double bed and one single bed.

Does the family room have its own bathroom?

Yes, with a shower. It is one of only two rooms here that does; every dormitory uses the shared bathrooms.

What else is in it?

Air conditioning, a television, a desk, a dining area, an electric kettle, a safe, an iron, a clothes rack and a socket beside the bed. There is a terrace off the room with outdoor furniture and a second place to eat.

Is it non-smoking?

Yes, like the rest of the building.

Can we join the activities as a group?

Yes, and most groups do. Everything on the board is free to join, nothing needs booking, and turning up in the common area is the whole of it.

The other rooms

Every room is on the rooms page with its size and bed count.
