Good to know

Worth knowing before you book

The three things guests ask reception about this room.

Male guests only

The counterpart to the female dormitory, and the reason both exist: plenty of people are happy in a mixed room and plenty are not, and neither position needs defending at a reception desk.

Sold by the bed

You book a bunk rather than the whole room, the same way the other dormitories work here. Who else is in it changes through the week, which is most of what makes a hostel a hostel.

What is in the bunk

A reading light, a socket beside your head, a blackout curtain and air conditioning, all of it on the hostel’s own listing. Towels are provided and the bathrooms are shared, with showers, toiletries and a hairdryer.

Photographs on the way

The photographs the hostel sent of this room came off a booking site at a size that would look soft here, so this page is waiting on new ones rather than showing you a blurred bed.

Ask on WhatsApp
Does Travelogue Guesthouse have a male-only dorm?

Yes. It is sold by the bed and it is the counterpart to the female dormitory.

What is in the male dorm?

A reading light, a socket beside the bed, a blackout curtain and air conditioning, with towels and shared bathrooms with showers, toiletries and a hairdryer.

How big is the male dormitory?

20 square metres, about 215 square feet, on the hostel’s own listing.

Is the male dorm the same as the mixed dorm?

The same bunks, the same privacy curtains and the same lockers. The difference is who is in the room: this one is male guests only, the mixed dormitories are not.
